Consequencely painting this month is and will be rather slow, the only unit likely to muster out from under the brush is the second French battalion for the Peninsular project.
The last game here at OHQ will be a First Carlist War game using Soldiers of Napoleon to see if they work for the period and to help us further our understanding of how the rules work.

Lovely work Phil, never got round to trying contrast paints but they seem to work for a lot of people. Are you sticking with metals for the project ?

DeleteThank you Norm. I did line in places not with black though I used Cygor Brown Contrast paint.
DeleteVery interesting to see contrast used for lining so effectively. I have been using contrast thinned on some flesh to act as a wash.

DeleteThe French are magnifique! The FCW game was really close until the end but certainly a good endorsement for SofN. We will return to Robinson in the Valley next week in GHQ .
