Here are a few items I have completed so far this month for three different collections. First up a bit of late medieval colour in the form of some Italian Wars Italian sword and buckler men. Perry Miniatures figures, hand painted shields on a bespoke base from the ever obliging Warbases.
Next up some boring old World War II stuff, more for the 1944 partisan brigade in the form of a 50mm mortar and crew. Britannia Miniatures via Grubby Tanks on you’ve guessed it a Warbases base.
Finally for the War of the Triple Alliance a mounted command figures for each side from Perry Miniatures of course on bases from you know who. First up a Paraguayan, next a Brazilian.Tomorrow will see the first outing of the year for the First Carlist War collection, when we will, yes I know I have said I didn’t know what it could offer that Black Powder can’t, Valour and Fortitude! We will see.Until next time………………..KBO
Very splendid new additions! Hopefully my valor and fortitude will be sufficiently roused tomorrow to sneak a win!
ReplyDeleteA fine mixed bag, indeed! Your hand painted shields are amazing! I await your impression of V&F.
ReplyDeleteA lovely mixed bag it is Phil!
ReplyDeleteA cracking mixed bag of lovely figures, the shields on the buckler men are quite superb and I must admit the two Triple Alliance command figures look great. Look forward to seeing your Carlist report one of my favourite conflicts.
