Cohors V Gallorum

I have managed to finish my second unit for my 3rd Century Romans project, this time an auxillary unit. All the figures are from A&A Miniatures with Little Big Man Studios shield transfers. Based for Neil Thomas's Ancient rules but with the 120mm frontage will also be good for Impetus games too.
Lots going on with health issues family wise at the moment, but hope to make it over to GHQ next Tuesday for a French Revolutionary War game.
Now I must go and catch up on some commission work, another late night looms.

  4. Lovely miniatures (A&A very under rated IMHO) and some lovely painting Phil.

    1. Thanks Darrell, agree about A&A but then 3rd century Romans are too, probably because all the info on them is not as clear cut and delivered on a plate like early and late periods.

  5. They look splendid Phil. Lovely work on the shields and basing! The frontages work really well to give that feeling of mass, but they still should be versatile on the table. Great work!

    1. Thanks Sid, can't claim much credit for the shields, with the exception of the Traiana's signifier they are LBMS transfers with a bit of dry brushing.
