Viva La Republica!

The forces of the Republic again inflicted another crushing defeat on the Nationalists earlier today here at OHQ.
An encounter game using Bolt Action rules with the following changes for the scenario -
All movement off road would be the normal 6", should a unit wish to run however it would add a D6 score to the 6".
Except on the road all units would count as in soft cover whilst units in a buildings footprint would count hard cover.
For the initial turns both of us would roll a D3, the total score of both would indicate that number of order dice to be randomly removed from the bag.
There was no turn limit except time, at which point the number of buildings occupied and units lost would be compared unless one side conceded earlier.
The Town
The game was very cat and mouse, both sides taking advantage of the available cover, however I was far too passive in my earlier advances, whilst Dave commanding the Republic forces forged forward dictating the fight from the outset. With losing three units from seven and only likely to be able to control two buildings by close of play I conceded the game to the Republic.
A photo montage from the game follows

This was the last game for July, due to holiday and family commitments there  will be a short hiatus until August.

Hasta La Vista!

  5. Thanks Matt. Yes the whole kit and kaboodle so far, minus the Empress church and the train station that I couldn't fit on.

    1. Thank you George. Yup, managed lots of pinning but only rendered two men hors de combat, whereas Dave despatched a dozen or more of mine. Dave keeps dice here, they may just go AWOL during the break :~)
