The Train Now Leaving

If you read my previous blog post and followed the link to GHQ, you will have read about the Very British Civil War game we started last Monday, under much improved weather conditions I made the journey over again today to finish off the game. I am pleased to say that after a tentative start the government troops lead by Lord Rawnsley were able to take the socialist armoured train in the name of the King. Click on the GHQ link above for further details and pictures of the game.
Below are selection that I took during the game...........................................

Next game here at OHQ is scheduled for the 8/9th January, a late 1918 action using Chain of Command with Great War modifications from the 2014 Christmas special.

Once again I wish you all a splendid Christmas.

  3. Excellent stuff......the photos are brilliant Phil and give a real sense of the game. I sense a slight change in style which personally I like and I always like playing the baddies go the government !

    1. Thank you Cpt. D. It is Hornby H0/OO, the train is no an exact fit, but it's near enough. After all we play soldiers, not trains :~)

But as I said to Dave...it’s a shame the villains had to win...;-)

    All the best. Aly
