Thank you Donnie. I made a mistake the co-drivers space was used to store the additional ammunition required for the bigger gun, perhaps he is popping his head out for air😉
Lovely work there Phil on a great model with some nice additional armour plates to it. A favourite tank ever since I had the Matchbox kit way back in the 1970's.
A splended looking piece there once again phil! Lovely work onthe weathering... looks just right. Just out of interest, do you use the sponge technique for the chipping effect?
Looks great and very nice weathering Phil!

Thank you for the continued encouragement Christopher.
DeleteThat's a magnificent beast, like it's creator even! I see you are staying at home tomorrow then...?
ReplyDeleteA deadly beast too. 🙂 I think I have saved OHQ to the vocabulary, that's my excuse anyway😂
DeleteExcellent armor work, Phil!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Jonathan.
DeleteVery nice indeed!
ReplyDeleteThank you much appreciated.
DeleteGreat work, super looking Sherman. The addition of the crew figure really adds to it.

ReplyDeleteThank Steve. The Matchbox Firefly I remember it well.
DeleteLovely work Phil, beautifully finished off 👍
ReplyDeleteThank you Matt.
DeleteSplendid work Phil…
ReplyDeleteIt gives a good impression of just how big the 17 pounder gun was…
All the best. Aly
Thank you Aly. It's not surprising they attempted to break up the outline.
