Lovely. I’ve noticed similar differences when photographing. Says much about the reflective quality of the paint. I like the s-models kits, plenty of detail but quick to build and what’s not to like about 2 in a box?
Powerful stuff, Phil, you are going to need a bigger picture these things had a massive effective kill range . You have a bit of a run on late war armour ....very nice 👍you,ve reminded me I have some 15 mm Germans somewhere which I bought to fight late war against my Americans . Might dig them out
Thank you Matt, it may have the range but it will still be me rolling to hit🙂 Have had the kits sitting round for a while, a case of buy it when you see it not when you need it, I still have 2 ISU152s, 3 SU76 and 3 251 half tracks in the stash to go at plus 2 Tiger IIs I recently purchased and that's just the 1/72 stuff!
Nice work Phil, I made my fair share of Matchbox JadgPanthers in the day, they are a dull looking AFV though, a box on tracks with a gun stuck on the front. You have made a great job of it though.
Very large! Does it break down on 1+?
ReplyDeleteNo a 1 is no effect, so I am safe😂

ReplyDeleteThank you Mark. This is my first S-Models build, not too keen on some of the x marks the spot location points though, I have the ISU152s to do next.

DeleteNice Phil, I went for the same camo scheme for mine, it has yet to see the outside of the garage.
ReplyDeleteThank you George, I had forgot how much I enjoyed doing AFVs
DeleteAnother lovely looking iconic big cat!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thank you Iain, a couple more to come.

ReplyDeleteThank you Paul. It's a. Shocks that's needs enhancing with the camp, I was going to do the dazzle type, but everyone seems to that one.
DeleteGreat stuff Phil, just started back working on 20mm myself, making myself a tool for making the zimmeret! Then the pain begins

Matt
Thank you Matt. Good look with the zimmerit, I remember back in my military modelling days adding it to a 1/35th Pz4 with a Pyrogravure
