I have completed some skirmishers for both sides of my Post Roman Britain collection. Figures from Footsore Miniatures, bases Warbases, tufts and flowers Gamers Grass and Debris of War. Decorated shields LBMS transfers.
No game this week due to the Bank Holiday and the trip up to Scotland for Carronade later this week. See you there perhaps, a great show I heartily recommend.

Great looking dark ages types.
ReplyDeleteCan second the recommendation for Carronade, great show.
Cheers, Ross
Thank you Ross.
DeleteThey look sensational Phil. I have a stack of these guys myself just waiting to come out and be re-based after dabbling with SAGA when it was so good in the early days (before they started to get greedy with supplement after supplement).
ReplyDeleteThank you Carlo, never played Saga, read the rules, there seemed to much emphasis on managing your board rather than your forces tactics, and as you say to many gimmicky rules added.
DeleteBeautiful work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Michel.
DeleteGreat work Phil. I have a load of old Footsore Saxons that came to the US with me that have never been out of their boxes.
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul, once you start them You will not want to stop, very painter friendly and characteristic.
DeleteThose are really wonderful. Sorry we won't be at Carronade on Saturday though now.
ReplyDeleteThank you Dave, they will be on table next outing.
DeleteWell done! Got to love those Footsore figures.
ReplyDeleteThank you William, splendid miniatures indeed.
DeleteLovely looking dark age types, have fun at the show!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain

DeleteNew additions look great Phil!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Thank you Christopher.
DeleteSmashing paint job and superb basing! Looking forward to more of these.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nick, Goth cavalry up next for the 3rd century project. I have another Saxon warband and some slingers to "complete" the Saxons and a cavalry unit for the British.
