A recent addition to my 28mm World War Two collection is this Rubicon Models Panzer IV Ausf J.
As with all Rubicon kits a joy to assemble, the schurzen even has a jig supplied to enable trouble free assembly.
Airbrushed with AK and Mig Ammo paints and weathered with Abteilung oils and AK pencils.
All being I will be off to sunny Al Andalus courtesy of Matt on the Sunday, looking at the forecast virtual sunshine is all that can be hoped for.
Until next time have a care and KBO.
A splendid addition, despite the lack of beards! I see you are committing gaming adultery again this weekend. Have you no shame?😷
ReplyDeleteNone at all, will do anything for a couple of hours in the sun. It has some spare track at the front which looks like a kind of beard.
DeleteA very professional finish there Phil, oils and pencils, cutting edge. I would like to try that kit with the wire shurzen but with seven kits on the way I cannot afford a divorce lawyer.
ReplyDeleteThank you George, the mesh is a big draw always liked the look of it. Seven, I am sure another one wouldn't be spotted🙂
DeleteVery nice Phil and I do really like the wire shurzen!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Thank you Christopher, a big draw that mesh and not as fiddly as I thought it would be.
DeleteThis is a dandy, Phil! Good luck in Southern Spain.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jonathan, hopefully the sun will shine on the old dice Sunday.
DeleteSplendid tank Phil.....you’ve made me think I need to do that PzIII I have perhaps this weekend ?
ReplyDeleteThank you Matt, tank constructing sounds a good idea👍
DeleteVery nice Phil...
ReplyDeleteI like the colour scheme...
All the best. Aly
Thank you Aly, nicked the scheme from a book, the chocolate brown and dunkelgelb fitted in with my autumn/winter theme.
DeleteVery well done Phil! Really like the two colour camo scheme. Something I had planned for a 15mm Late War force that never got off ground
ReplyDeleteThank you Nick, maybe 20mm to go with those super Soviets you have done😉
DeleteNever tried using an airbrush but the effects always look superb. Great job Phil, not just on the tank but the tank commander also.
ReplyDeleteThank you Pat, not easy things to master but can give very nice and satisfying effects.
