These are figures that I have completed the rump end of July and the beginning of this month. First up is the first four figures from the latest Empress Miniatures Spanish Civil War release.
Next up is another batch of Soviet partisans, again Britannia Miniatures from Grubby Tanks. To finish off some Italian Wars additions, Dave kindly gave me this Wargames Illustrated Giants in Miniature figure who I have painted up to represent a character my fictional family Baldini family, Principe Fillipo Baldini and his faithful hound Jacamo from Steel Fist Miniatures.
Inspired by receipt of the above and Dave’s current output of Wars of the Roses figures I dug out this Perry Miniatures cannon and crew.
Back in the Italian wars vein I cleaned up a unit of sword and buckler men which are now under the brush.
Top stuff Phil…
ReplyDeleteI like the way that the gun crew look like they are having an argument/discussion on tactics 😁
All the best. Aly
Thank you Aly. I think he is saying ‘I said up a bit Bernie!’
DeleteLovely mix of figures and periods. SCW tempts me and those figures are great, of course, I'd be mad to do it in 28mm, but boy it's tempting. Great painting.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mark, you should of course resist everything except temptation🙂
DeleteLovely work all round, all look super. The gun and crew are particularly very nice indeed, as Aly says they look like the are in the process of a heated discussion, really nicely posed.
ReplyDeleteThank you Donnie, it is all helped my Michael's nicely posed figures.
DeleteWonderful additions to three outstanding collections! The gun crew is my favourite though the hound runs it close.
ReplyDeleteThank you Dave, the gun crew is coming out tops it appears.
DeleteA fine job on Principe Fillipo Baldini and his faithful hound Jacamo - very distinctive.
ReplyDeleteThank Norm, I have tried to make him look suitably commanding.
DeleteLovely Phil, especially the Prince.
ReplyDeleteThank you George, much appreciated.
