I appear to have been in gun mode the last two weeks having completed three guns and crews. Here in no particular order.
A War of the Triple Alliance Brazilian Whitworth 12pdr breech loader from Perry Miniatures on a Warbases base.
Next a Paraguayan howitzer again from Perry Miniatures on a Warbases base.
All being well the Triple Alliance guns will hit the gaming table here at OHQ next week.
Until then…………………KBO
"Boom! Boom! Boom!" as Baldrick might say! Splendid work on all three, two of which I hope to command in battle sooner or later!
ReplyDeleteThank you Dave. Let’s hope the dice gods of gunners favour you more next week than this. Wait what am I saying😉
DeleteLovely and nice sympathetic basing.
ReplyDeleteThank you Norm, most kind.
DeleteGun mode is the best mode to be in, you can never have enough big guns. I'm an artillery fan but rarely get the chance to actually field them on the table.
ReplyDeleteIf I have off table guns I put models on the base line. It also reminds me to remember I have them👴🏻
DeleteFantastic work! Those Paraguayans are a colorful bunch.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jonathan, the varied colour and pattern of the chiripa certainly spruces them up.
ReplyDeleteExcellent set of artillery Phil!
ReplyDeleteThank you Christopher.
DeleteLovely work on all the guns and crews, must admit looking forward to seeing your Triple Alliance game.
ReplyDeleteThank you Donnie. I am looking forward to seeing the WTA collection in action too.
DeleteIt's nice to enjoy this range of figures without the effort of collecting them myself - other ranges having my attention. I look forward to the next Triple Alliance episode.
