Continuing with the First Carlist War I have painted up another battalion for the Isabelinos, the Espana regiment.
Whilst in Black Powder period mode I have also painted two skirmishing units for the War of the Triple Alliance.
To keep the World War II Italian theatre project going along I have started the second British section.
No games in the next two weeks as Dave and Sue will be going on their trip up north has we return.
Until next time keep cool and KBO
Some very nice work there Phil.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jon much appreciated.
DeleteSome first rate brushwork on show there Phil. We really should coordinate our holiday breaks rather better than this year's efforts!
ReplyDeleteThank you Dave, you would think with 34 years in planning I could do better😂
DeleteBrilliant brushwork, Phil! Enjoy your holiday!
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly on both counts Jonathan!
DeleteSuper work all round Phil, the Isabalenos are particularly lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the continued support and encouragement Donnie.
DeleteAll excellent. Of course I like the Isabelinos most, I find the South American project fascinating as I know nothing about it really, and for once I've an interest in WWII due to reading a novel called Seelowe Nord, and wondering whether to play 'What a tanker' again which I set in the Western Desert.

Thank you Stephen. It is indeed an interesting and intriguing conflict and quite devastating for Paraguay. It's said they lost 90% of the male population!
DeleteGreat output for a month with a heatwave (my local maps show 85% humidity today!) have a fab break. Those yellow / blue / green highlights against the grey background look superb.
ReplyDeleteThank you Norm. I am lucky the study has virtually no sun on it all day.
DeleteWonderful looking units! The Isabelinos are an inspiration as I have just received enough for a few units. The Triple Alliance look cool but as some one else has said, not really up to speed on the era. The final group is a great desert group. If I 'd gotten that much done so well in a month, I would be pleased.
ReplyDeleteThank you Joe. I have an Isabelino gun and crew started just before the break so hope to get that completed and another game on the table next month.
DeleteWow, they look sensational!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, James
Thank you for the effusive comment James!
