A fitting title for an infantry tank and a link between the two different Churchills. A Churchill "Infantry" tank, named after the Duke of Marlborough, a Warlord Games/Italeri kit for my 28mm late war British force.
If Dave has recovered enough to drive it may hit the table next week. Keep tuned until then

Another splendid vehicle for the Late War collection! I look forward to it's debut next week at OHQ!
ReplyDeleteThank you, I trust it will serve you well. But not that well🙂
DeleteSuperb work as always! A tank that has grown on me over the years, initially put off by the Airfix kit and all those damend fiddly wheels to get stuck in the right place;).
ReplyDeleteThank you Steve, s proper tank the Churchill. It was a joy not having to glue all the wheels on.
DeleteThis has got to be the tank you want to support your infantry. Are the hatches fixed or can you insert a figure in the turret?
ReplyDeleteIndeed it is Rob. Yup the turret hatches can be unbuttoned.
DeleteA very nice model and very nicely painted, should look good when it hits the table.
ReplyDeleteThank you Donnie. Although I will be on the receiving end of it I am looking forward to its debut too.
DeleteA lovely little model Phil…
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite tanks…
The Airfix kit was very nice… but those road wheels… the horror 😱
All the best. Aly
Thank you Aly. The joy of of two parts only knows no bounds🙂
ReplyDeleteWill Dave be driving this Churchill or does he have his own vehicle?
ReplyDeleteStephen
It would be useful to drive over all the bloody road works they keep putting up between our homes.
DeleteLovely looking results you have achieved there.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful example of quality modelling there Phil, of the highest standard indeed! The old Bulldog will thunder on.... even with Dave in it!
ReplyDeleteAnother excellent paint job Phil.
ReplyDeleteThank you George.
DeleteVery nicely done, Phil!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jonathan.
DeleteLovely paint job Phil 👍
ReplyDeleteThank you Matt. It didn't shine on its table debut yesterday but then again it survived new unit syndrome at least.
