For 1945 games and in preparation for the latest Battlegroup supplement.
I also have a M36 tank destroyer ready for weathering, await delivery of washes from Flory Models, ordered last night and posted today!
Keep your eyes peeled for a report of the French and Indian Wars game played today on Dave's blog, Tales From GHQ.
TTFN and KBO
Two splendid additions there Phil! Far prefer R2R's approach to wargames pieces rather than the Battlefront rubbish I've been struggling with! The F&IW game is on my blog now by the way.
ReplyDeleteThank you, they await your orders next week.
DeleteVery nice Phil…
ReplyDeleteLovely simple but effective models…
All the best. Aly
Thank you Aly, they are nice and sturdy gaming without fiddly and fragile bits. Although I did have fun glueing 32 individual bolt heads on the UM Models M36πππ
DeleteVery much like the subtle shading/weathering, The AB figures are fantastic sculpts with proper proportions.
ReplyDeleteThank you Matt much appreciated. AB are indeed wonderful, just adding that figure lifted the M8 another level.
DeleteNice work Phil, there’s a real M8 half a mile from me.
ReplyDeleteThank you George. I can you see now at 17.00 standing in the turret being driven through Warton to the applause of adoring customersπ
DeleteLovely dozer piece - did you use AB for the M36 crew as well? I bought a kit from EWM for the very plain Armorfast M10’s, which added crew, some stowage and some shell racks to line the interior of the turret.
ReplyDeleteThank you Norm. Yes I have a couple of AB figures fir the M36, they are actually seated figured left over from the M16 crew set.
DeleteAn excellent duo, Phil!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jonathan, will get at least one of them on the table next week.
DeleteLovely work, particularly the weathering.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind comments Allan.
DeleteNice work Phil. Although washes and wargamers? An all too rare combination...
ReplyDeleteThank you Jon. π Eau de Agrax body wash?
DeleteExcellent work there Phil, very nice weathering! Nicely based. well done!
