Slow Progress

Very slow in fact, just an additional base of archers for the Goth horde.

Foundry Casting Room - archer in mail shirt and dead Jim.
Footsore Miniatures for the remainder.
I have also made my Paraguayan unit for the War of the Triple Alliance up to six bases, pointless taking a picture as the all look the same.

Instead here are some pics of a recently completed commission for some rather fine late 17th mounted officers and ensigns from Front Rank.

    1. Thank you Iain, though I am hoping that the Goths will not be too useful in the upcoming game.

  9. Apparently slow progress is better than none......lovely work especially on the offices do you put more effort into commissions or your own figures ....best not answer that. ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. Thank you Matt. I put equal effort in, however I cut a lot out on my own figures these days making use of washes and only using two shades or none at all especially on belts, shoes and even trousers especially when the are going to be covered by shields.

  10. These look very, very good Phil. I think your painting style is wonderful and its one I would love to be able to replicate. Great looking Marlburian figures and a period I am particularly fond of.

    1. Thank you for the kind words Carlo. Dave and myself had a large collection of MiniFigs Marlburians back in the day, we are both tempted to revisit the period from time to time.
